Another AT Pro

I have been detecting for 7 years now and this is my first post on this site. So Hello DIGGERS. I just bought another AT Pro great detector I notices when I opened the box that Garrett has added a new feature they have added the shaft clamps for upper and lower. My first one I had to buy the after markets. A quick hint. The head phone adapter that cost about $35.00. save your money I went to Radio Shack and picked up a pack of female head phone jacks, cut the connector end of the AT Pro head phones soldered the 2 wires (black & red) ran the wire to the rear of the arm rest and used a wire clamp and the same screw that holds down the arm rest. Now I can use any head phones. total cost $4.50.

Welcome Striker. Your in good company right here on the At Pro forum. Where are you from? What do you like to hunt for with that At Pro? After reading all the stories on water behind the screen I'm about ready to put mine in the bath tub.

Welcome, Striker!

The clamps could be part of the new features someone mentioned a couple weeks back that were coming for the AT Pro. How is the arm rest? I wonder if they lengthened it finally.

- Muddyshoes.

Thanks..besides the AT Pro I use MXT Pro and sometimes the F75. But I find I am using the AT Pro more. I think we agree I rather find jewelery then clad, but finding anything of value works for me. most of my detecting is out of Chicago.
