Volume control? If you don't have it on your earphones I guess that would be nice. The toggle switch? They guy needs to supply info with his permissions.

I've seen that before. It locks it in pinpoint mode for true all metal.

Locks it in pinpoint mode which is true all metal. Some guys just hold the pinpoint button down and hunt in that mode.

I had KHOUSE put a pinpointing switch on my ACE. It's a trigger switch like the one on another brand of detector. Having arthritis in my hands, the trigger switch works a lot better than trying to put my thumb in an awkward position with it on the face plate...

It depends on where I'm hunting, what I'm looking for, and which of the three coils I'm using. I usually go to all metal with the large coil on the beach.

Since the Little Yeller Feller is such a dandy grab n' go MD, I use it without headphones a lot...
and it's TOO loud when there's other folks around.
Hate to annoy folks with silly beepies when their kids are throwing frisbees at me!

Never considered using it with button down.
Switch might be good...

I think Khouse tried GB even after advice... and it did NOT work.
Goofed up display, also...
