Another Ace 250 MD'er

Tinman

New member
Hi there everyone,
Just wanted to introduce my self, I have been lurking here for about 2 weeks.
I am the new owner of a Garrett Ace 250, receive last week and love it.
On this past weekend I put it through the paces, at Long Beach New York, then at a local park, up in Orange County NY (where I actually live). The whole time dragging my girl friend around with me, but she loved it too.

So far only a few bucks in clad, but I am really working on it.
Oh I forgot to mention while hunting in the park, I got a foil range signal, I thought it was another of the many pull tabs of the day.
I started digging, and there was this gold color showing through the grass roots. My heart raced as I unearthed this wedding band shaped ring, of course it was a bubble gum ring made in china.
It must have got wacked by a mower a few times, but hay it was my first ring.
My girl put it on her finger and lost it before we got back to my truck. I hope who ever finds it again has the same expression I had.
Anyway nice to be here, and looking forward to sharing my experiences and yours.
Bob

Looking forward to seeing some of your finds later on. You might want your girlfriend to get an ACE 250 also. There have been a lots of posts where the "other half" went out and "Smoked" her mate .

Don't hesitate to ask any questions here, as we have all walked in your shoes at one time.

You're not ready for how much fun this is gonna be. And it's great that you had your girlfriend there when you found that ring. More than once I've dug up something that got my heart racing, and found myself all alone in a field looking around for someone to tell about it.

Have a ball, and keep posting.

And oh, yeah - pictures!
