Another 3 x 18k rings Aug 27 Hunt

Another successful hunt with DF, 3 rings 18K (total weight:19 grams) each recovered from shallow salt water neck to waist deep. 2 spinners with 2 tone rings and one wedding band. 2 hours snorkel hunt. also recovered 4 silver rings and 3 junk ring. $4 in coins, paid for my detector.

And more specifically, the White's Pulse Induction, correct?

Just want to make sure I am understanding correctly.

My diving/wading partner uses a White's Pulse machine and it does great. Only problem is, where we water hunt, there is quite a bit of iron objects in the river, deposited from farms, old home sites, logging activity, and the railroad.

In other words, when we use his machine, working as a team with him searching and myself retrieving targets, I spend a lot of time removing pieces of horse shoes, railroad spikes, barbed wire, and other farm refuse from the river, and I have actually been digging out an iron target when I eyeballed a ring a foot or so away from the target he detected.

The machine I currently use is a Fisher CZ21, but I have spent a lot of down time with repair issues, so now I am considering a transition to a Minelab Excaliber II w/ 10" coil.
