Another 2 inch deep "V" Nickel

Back to the same forest hills as I fond the Shield and other "V" Nickel, and I get another one...1903 and not in best shape...Only about an inch deep on the side of the trail.
The guys who are cherry picking this place...I thank you for leaving the old nickels for me...I like 1800s and early 1900s coins...

HH,

Very nice, But its a shame the ground isn't kind to nickels. I like them also

Great finds! I like 1800's to very early 1900's coins! I found 1884 V Nickel at about 8 inch deep at old park last Fall! Most Buffalo and V Nickel that I found is at least 6 inch deep in Illinois park. Hard ground like rocks, gravel in woods is more shallow for me!

you never know you might hit a gold coin there? I like digging just for the sake of digging too.....in such an old place you never know what youll find. I also like hilly areas.

Congratulations on the shallow V. Thanks for the pictures.
