Another 2 cent Piece and some Wheats!

I went down to a friends area and hunted for a couple of hours, not very productive but I did manage this Well worn no date 2 Cent. After I left there I stopped by an older ballpark that has yielded so old coins in the past. I put the 10 x 12 SEF on an off I go. I hit a 3 coin spill of Wheats, no big deal but what was impressive was the depth!! My Leshe was almost completely below the grass! The Leshe is 11" from point to end of the handle. Luckily I was in soft clay so it wasn't bad digging.

I wanted to video just how deep I was and all I had was my crappy cell phone but I gave it a shot. I gotta start carrying my good Kodak video camera. No sound for this one but you get the idea just how deep I was and that coil was still sounding good at 24 semi-auto.

Nice !

I have only found a single two-center since I started detecting.

Nice finds bud.
Well worn doesn't matter...still a great find.

A "toastie" but a goodie. Nice find Jeff. Those 2-centers read a little funky sometimes and don't turn up that often.
