Another 100 coin day,silver and 2 rings

WOW two 100 plus coin days in a row. That my never happen again .
Went back to the spot I started yesterday. I Hit the same exact area I did yesterday for 7 hours today. This part of the grounds is only about 60 yards by 30 yards. This is were the largest amount of coins are being found. Total coin count 103. 30 quarters,38 dimes,12 nickles,23 Penny's. Did finally pull out one silver 1964 dime it was just shy of 8" deep ,I knew it was a silver dime before I even dug it, had a slight higher tone than a normal dime, I dug enough of them. Got two junk ring,still rings and the one is pretty, I will get a real one in time. Also a few other thing. The key is pretty cool I like it. Notice the 1980 dime by the key, had me fooled thought it was a 1960 dime till I got it clean. Oh believe me I did dig about a pound of trash too I am going to go over this area again with a tweaked relic program now I have it cleaned up a good bit for I believe the silver is all below 7" 8" deep. Hope I can find some more. A lot of the coins I have dug are 5"-7" deep so far. Hope I can get below 8" and some, I know the silver is there!

P.S I was ready to leave so I counted my coins I knew I had a bunch and wanted another 100 day, I only had 88 so I went back at it till I got the 103 just to get two in a row 100 days, may never happen again, was a lot of work I got a blister thru my glove

Wow, that's great! I've never come close to 100 let alone two days in a row. What's with the crucifix? I take it that it's junk since you didn't mention it.

Congratulations on your double up century days and that dime!!

Just a thought, you may want to try a screwdriver in those clad heavy places, especially on targets 4" to surface...lots faster and way easier than digging...not so hard on a guy either... you can get some 200+ coins days easy if theres a lot of shallow clad and you get good with a screwdriver, which is not that hard, just a little commitment to succeed and a bit of practice...

Yep your right. I have a brass probe but can only get them at 2" I have a bit of a hard time with anything deeper. I will start taking a screwdriver with me I'm sure I will get better. I was beginning to worry a bit with all the plug s I cut too. They are all neat three sided horseshoe plugs, it is nice topsoil and was able to sink the lesche digger the whole way down and pry up the plug and most all plugs stayed together nice so I could just flip them back in.The grounds keeper came by a few times both days and has no problem with me so that's a good thing. I told him I will not dig in the ball field just probe, but I haven't even got that far yet. Could not hunt there today to many people there was like a party going on plus a ball game. Funny Friday and Saturday there was five people total for both days.

Crucifix is junk I Like to keep finds that are different even if they are toasted. There is a tiny round thing too smaller than a dime not sure what it is from.

The other day I dug maybe 50 - 100 targets, and now Im suffering from trigger finger... If you dug trash along the way I can only imagine that it would have crippled me lol..
