Another 1 Reale and another coin on the fringe of detection.

Well worn but a 1 Reale. Picked up on that faint little blip and pulled a plug. Audio and digital locked right on.
Also found a Canadian One Cent piece 1917. This is the second one that I've found that is silver color right out of the ground. 6" deep in a farm field.

They can be Spanish or Mexican. they are in denominations of 1/2, 1, 2 up to 8 Reales which would be equal to a Dollar. Here are a few.

Bob, why does that have a 25 above the cents if it is a one cent piece? It it the wrong picture, I have read of silver pennies but don't remeber what country minted them...just curious...nice silver and spanish coins either way.

I don't see many Canadian quarters down this way. Guess I live too far south of the line. And, the Spainsh 1 Reale appears to be from the Phillip V reign. Judging by that specific shield, I'd say it is 1731 or older. Nice find! HH Randy
