Being held each year in the North during the winter months. This years site yet to be determined.
Hunt site, large inland lake, pond, river frozen solid.
Hunt Types
1) Powder X--- coins tokens seeded within 5" deep snow covered lake.
Snow making machine needed on premises.
Hunt equipment, climatized metal detector and snow scoop.
2) Ice Block Regatta---coins tokens seeded under a layer of ice
Zamboni machine to clear ice and snow. Coins tokens thrown in
hunt area. Pressure washer to disperse cold water over hunt area. Snow machine
to mist cover the area with 1" of snow.
Hunt equipment climatized metal detector, pick axe, ice spud, blow torch, hammer chisel.
Powered and non-powered ice augers not allowed.
There will be 3 mini umax warm up hunts, Silver and Golden Sabre coin hunts. Claddage prize token hunt.
Childrens Compadre Hunt. Tejon Civil war relic hunt.
For your own safety
Optional gear needed, ice cleats, ice skates, snow shoes.
Please be mindful snow and ice can be slippery at times.
Hunting behavior, be polite, respectful, or considerate of other hunters.
Checking, rough housing allowed within reason. No hockey equipment allowed
in hunt areas during hunts. Hunt area can be used for figure skating and hockey games, ice fishing
after last hunt.
Overnite camping allowed in designated areas. No ice camp fires allowed.
Last Note
Event will be held snow or shine.
Event will only be cancelled due to thin ice.
Be prepared. Frostbite, frozen limbs are a possiblity
First aid safety crew, equipment always on site.

Pre-registration is required to avoid the long lines that can develop during sign-in on hunt day.
Stock Tesoro detectors can only be used, rentals on site. Frequency shifters on site.
All detectors must be inspected during sign-in for nonstock units and signal jamming devices, if found you will not be given a refund and barred from future events.
