Annoying CZ6a tidbit

While hunting with my CZ I sometimes bump the sens control to a higher number. The manual says that you have to re ground balance if you go to a higher sens. Just annoying, do any of you have the same problem and what do/can you do about it besides super glue. Thanks.

You can try using a small rubber washer or get a very small rubber band and wrap it around the back of the knob a few times. I know you can take the knob off, using a small hex nut tool, and put on the rubber washer.

I haven't had to do it for a long time, but you can remove the offending knob and slip an appropriately size o-ring down the shaft to where it touches the base. Slip the knob back on. The o-ring will provide additional resistance to the knob turning.

Good luck.

I had the same issue and the detector shop had a small foam ring, like the stuff on the bottom of a computer mouse pad only twice as thick though, which solved my issue... I bet the rubber o-ring will work just as well...
