Anfibio or Multi Kruzer

Probably not too much. Will it find things in sites you already hunted? How has that worked out in the past? A couple more coins maybe. If you have a good quality detector now......enjoy it. My opinion......

Added useful features and modes, better audio, improved robust straight shaft and handle, larger DD coil with tighter pinpointing.

Performance more like the Impact but, with a faster processor and with navigation menu system like the Kruzer.

With the new larger DD 9x11 coil, it has found many more coins in the same area hunted with both the Impact and Multi-Kruzer. I will attribute that to the new 9x11 coil that picked up those coins deeper an on edge.

So what if you don't have the kruzer or the impact?
What's the best option then between multi kruzer, I pact and anfibio multi?

Look at the features and see what fits your needs.
If your concerned about weight Impact is the heaviest, Kruzer is the lightest.

Best to find a dealer and have a look at them all when the Anfibio is released.

If you don't want to feel like you'll be out gunned or missing something................go for the Anfibio Multi. And get a few coils.

And in your case getting an Anfibio Multi, may cause some of your herd to go away...................

I looked at the videos and adds and decided to go with the MultiKruzer. I figured I would not probably use 5 tones nor 99 tones. It pretty much has all the same other feature things from what I saw on the faceplate and discriptions of features videos. The Kruzer and Anfibio are a step higher than the Impact software as far as speed and depth goes I was informed , Newer dfactory improvements upgradeing I was told.
I wanted waterproof also and the Impact is not waterproof and it's heavier.
All the coils that fit the Kruzer, 5" dd, 7" concentric will also work on Anfibio as well as the new 11" Anfibio coil and the new 9" concentric they are coming out with will work on the Kruzer so when the 11" is available I will get one for it and the Kruzer will be pretty much the same with maybe 2-3 less adjustments.

Hope this helps Oh yeah MK is a less expensive too I'm pretty sure. Until proven otherwise then we can rethink about swapping for an Anfibio later..

Ditto to what others have said. From what I've seen any depth advantage the Anfibio has over the Multi Kruzer is pretty much attributable to the new coil. And yes, you may end up thinning your herd. I like my Multi Kruzer (Thanks Sven!) so much I'm actually considering the sale of most of my other machines including my Patriot and beloved Treasure Barons! Maybe it's just me but it seems to take less time to learn its language than most any other machine. I'll probably be adding the new 11" for less trashy areas. 7" is my favorite for most hunts though. Quiet, deep, and isolates targets very well.

I guess if you already have a Kruzer and like the feel of it, and are not wishing for a 99-tone mode, then the release of the Anfibio gives you another two coil options.

If you don't have a Kruzer, then the Anfibio Multi has a bunch of features added:

1. Collapsible shaft - that is about the only thing I don't like on the Impact, the shaft can't slide up very far.
2. Backlit keypad!! I do most of my beach hunts at night, so this will be awesome
3. 11" coil as stock. Gives you the industry standard size coil straight off the bat, then you can pick a smaller or bigger coil depending on your needs.
4. The Kruzer stock coil with raised wings does have a bit of drag under water, the Anfibio coil is more streamlined so will be less drag when wading.
5. 99-tone and 5-tone modes
6. Notch volume!!
7. Personally I like the feel of the straight shaft and thicker handle and the angle on the Impact. The Kruzer hand grip is angled too forward and a little thin (I have big hands!). The Anfibio seems to sit right in between the Kruzer and Impact designs, so should make most users happy.
8. Sliding armrest - will allow you to set it to the perfect position to suit your arm length.
9. Cache mode - super deep on big targets.

So pretty much a no-brainer for me, but a couple considerations for some may be cost, and those wishing to keep weight to an absolute minimum. If you want a super light set-up, then a Kruzer with 7" concentric, or KR19 coil would be the way to go. But the Anfibio is still about 200g lighter than an Impact.

Multi kruzer has notch volume. Greater depth on Anfibio due to 11"coil and they've made these interchangeable with the kruzer series.

The straight shaft appeals to me more than the S handles I have been using for 25 yrs. I want the lightest weight and best balanced detector. I have always used concentric coils. I have one D-D machine and don't like it. Recently found a 62 Rosie and 44 Washington quarter in parks I have been searching for years. Both were shallow 3" in hard packed dry dirt. Iffy signals. Was surprised. All the new machines come with DD coils then they are slow to bring out smaller concentric coils and spare rods. Then there's the software updates and build quality problems. And most don't include a arm strap. But at least there's more new units on the market now than in many years. And most of us don't need a fully submersible unit. HH.

Multi Kruzer has Iron volume. Notch volume is unique to the Anfibio Multi and Anfibio 14 models.
