Anfibio with 9" concentric coil, just learning the newer features from my previous Makro machines. The 1916 merc had me excited until I got it cleaned up to see it wasn't a Denver mint. Plain, beat up and all, I'll take it. I am liking the extra adjustability of tones, notch volume....

Congrats on the nice finds. Do you like the 9" concentric better than the 11" stock coil?
I feel confident that you will pick up a few more finds in iron infested areas with it. The two dimes were from that scenario, could only hit the one dime one way, luckily I hit to get a intermittent high squeak and then turned until it locked on. I set it up to how Darnell Williams explained in his youtube video. I hit a home built in1850 yesterday, really struggled with the concentric coil.GB was 74-79,a ton of iron in mineralized ground, really had to lower the gain to get it to run stable, I finally went to beach mode and got better depth but Id seemed unstable .I plan on going back with a double D and see if I can figure something out if it will ever quit raining.

went back with Double D coil, first target was a rosie. It went downhill drastically after that, digging junk.
