Andy Sabisch's New Book!

Erik in NJ

New member
I ordered Andy's new book a few days ago from his website -- at $20 including shipping it's a great deal. I was amazed at how fast it arrived in my mailbox and after thumbing through it, it looks like a very well written book and a "must have" for anyone that owns the Explorer or the E-Trac. I have both so I can't wait to digest this tome. Lots of pics of fantastic finds as well! Thanks Andy for putting in the effort to write this invaluable reference!

Hi Eric.
I agree that Andy's book is fantastic. I have read it twice already and plan on reading it a few more times yet. Every time I read it I get something new that makes me wonder why I did not see it the first time. I guess there is just so much info there.

BTW..............

Is that your dime that was all cut up in the book ?

I read a little tonight of it and what I have read is awesome and by far the best book Andy has come out with in my opinion and feel anyone thinking on the Explorer or a E-Trac or has one should spend the $20 as it will be well spent.

I ordered mine last week and received it in less than 4 days. I haven't had the time to get started in reading it as yet, but after reading all the great reviews, I can't wait. I know it is full of a lot of helpful knowledge. Thank you Andy, and all you guys that contributed. And again, thank you Andy for you individual help!! HH EddieB

Hi Steve, Yes Andy asked me a while back if it was OK to use some pics of my finds in the book and I said sure. I was pleasantly surprised to see that cut up dime in the book not only because of the unique story of how all three pieces were found in different spots and on more than one day, but because it really demonstrates the sheer power and ability of the new Pro Coil! Several of the great finds pics in the book came from contributors to this forum which was nice too see. With prominent (and well deserved) mention of guys like Bryce and Mike Moutray. I also really enjoyed reading and seeing the pics of the incredible finds from the UK!

This great book will be my travelling companion on the train to and from work for the next few weeks! I am particularly interested in the technical details on the Fe/Co mappings on the Explorer and E-Trac. Like you Chris i am looking forward to reading it several times!

Best, Erik

Yes from first flick through, a very informative and very well put together book. Thanks again Andy for sending my copy and signing it. Im saving it for a really good read over the christmas period when I have more time to digest it fully. Can never understand why when something costs 20 bucks in the states Its the same in GB pounds (

Tell me about it Tony - my wife is English and we travel there about once a year - very expensive for us, your taxes are very high - and most Americans think our are bad. If ypu need a bargain let me know and i'll pick it up here in NYC and bring it over 4 u!

HAR HAR HAR Tony.....

Heh heh... :clapping:

I just got my copy of Andys book too, ~ can't get my nose out of it !!!

Take care over there, and stay warm ...

Andy's book is great. I have one and may order another one or two. One will certainly get torn, worn and dirty as a field reference.

because you Britts have confused everything by using a weights measurement (pounds) for currency and a bunch of puppies (liter) for volume and your Mother's Mother (Gram) for weight! It's no wonder you and Slow - n - Low can hear good targets in all of the squeaks and squawks of all metal mode. You guys are used to all of the confusion! ;) All'n jest M8!

PS - I got my copy of Andy's book too and it's been a great read so far!

Mike

I'm on page 78... what a GREAT book !!! Thanks to Andy for taking the time and trouble to do so much work for us.
