Does anyone know where I can download this program? Just got a 3030 yesterday and I'm coming from an E-Trac... Thanks In Advance

There are several with his name.
If I were home I could take a pic of the program on the computer screen and you could build them easy enough.
Broke down in MS on the way home , won’t be there till Wed if I’m lucky.
Some one should be able to help

I didn't know if it came with settings etc etc... I bought the Andy S book on the CTX and showed a picture so I made one.. Just wasn't sure if anyone could tell me if it came with settings already set? Thanks and sorry to here about your break down that never is any fun.... Thanks for taking the time to reply....

There are something like 7 canned programs with the CTX 3030 and you can take-off as soon as you charge the battery.

What's that? Don't understand

Mike,
Are you getting a new or used CTX?

In either case, you desperately need to download the manual and print it out.
Coming from the ET will help tremendously, but don't get caught in the trap of thinking the CTX is just an enhanced E-trac.
(It has similarities, but they have different 'DNA'.)

As far as the 'canned' programs go...if you're getting a used machine, you can do a complete reset of the CTX back to factory defaults.
Which is what I would do immediately with any used machine.

You can access the quick reset menu by powering on, then continuing to hold the power on button past the jingle tone until you hear a low tone.
Choose the option "Reset All", and your detector will be setup as factory new.

Once again, that manual is invaluable, as is the Sabisch book.

Welcome aboard, and good luck,
:)
