this thing fixes the focus AFTER the picture is taken...very interesting......but an ugly camera for sure....probably great for taking pictures of antsy kids who cant stay still etc

I personally like 20 plus zoom... Most of my Harbor related are in the distance. I like to be able to take close up, and zoom in when needed.
 
Remember how much VCRs used to be when they first came out? now you cant give one away....or the tube type televisions
if they dont sell many then it will be a special market/niche type of camera. Personally its not my thing....aside from what you pointed out, i cant get past the way it looks.
