...yes, an unprecedented NINE straight hunts with gold in my scoop! But remember that song "She works hard for the money"? Let me tell you...I was SURE the streak was over.
What a difference a day makes! The hunting ground that was so fertile the previous night turned cold and dead last night. It was looking pretty grim until I again found a magic spot that gave up much obscenely-deep clad (That would be the HARD WORK part) and finally, the one ring. And I will take full credit for a 14K DIAMOND ring, please! See, if you look REAL CLOSE, there are 3 diamonds...one at the upper tip, one in the middle, and one in the lower tip of the crescent moon. And I'm sure they're real. Because they're SO small...(HOW SMALL ARE THEY???)...they're SO small that making them out of glass would probably cost more than making them out of real diamonds. Actually, I think they came from the phonograph (That's a RECORD PLAYER for you young pups) recycling program, where they make jewelry out of old phonograph needles. But you know, for FADING PURPOSES, diamonds trump ALL.
OK, so here are WAY TOO MANY pics of a single ring. But you gotta understand...if not for THIS RING, the streak was over. So it's special.
