And an 1873 makes 50 for 2013

Deep Down

New member
Got out this weekend before the rain and was sitting on 49 Indians for the year. Went to a 1890's Farm Saturday and about 40 min in got a 9-36 at about 5 inches, made the dig and got a beautiful 1873 to make number 50 since March 19Th. Could not be happier or say enough good things about the E-trac

Way to go on number 50! I started with 0 in my 3 year career at the beginning of the season. Got 3 so far this year since using the Etrac. I've read on here that they can show as 1-36. I was skipping those signals assuming it was iron wrap around. I'm going to start checking some of those from now on!

Ohio Digger I would say 80% of the Indians I dig come in some where between 04-36 and 09-39. I hunt mostly old farm yards if there is alot of iron I have found them anywhere from 01-36 to 18-36. My suggestion would be to dig any signal that is in that range. Found two more last night on the same yard one of them only showed 08-36 twice and the rest of the signals were Iron grunts and numbers in the 28-45 to 33-45 range. I trusted the E-trac and made the dig got a real nice 1889 at about 7 inches and took two nails and a smaller piece of Iron out of the same hole at about 4-5 inches. Long story short and its to late for that I get anything on the 36 Co. more than once I'm digging. HH Dave

Ok thanks. I'm trying to get down to an old area of town that had homes on it from the turn of the century. They since tore the houses down and are in te process of making it into a parking lot. I found an IH there the other day. It was like 12-36 I think. I'm sure there's more of them there. I'll try digging those signals I've been skipping. Thanks for the advice!

Very impressive. Congrats on the milestone.
