An update on the return of the class ring Nancy found a month ago...

Nancy found this ring at a highschool football field on june 10. She has at long last spoken to Nikki, the highschool senior who lost the ring.

She was very, very happy to find out her ring had been found, She thanked Nancy over and over. Nikki said that she would drive the 30 miles to our house to pick it up, but Nancy said that we would mail it to her to save gas. Nancy has packed it carefully and sent it to her. She should get it on Saturday.
I hope this is not the end of the story. It would be nice to see if Nancy gets a thank-you card or something for all her efforts so we could share in her joy. That is not the reason for returning the ring though. It is just the right thing to do. To keep something that has a name in it is plain old stealing. HH DC
