An unmarked silver ring.

Found a second piece of unmarked silver for the year, this morning. This one , a childs silver ring with yellow stone.I think it is pretty old and the stone I believe is not glass. Its sort of milky yellow.
Found it with a Vaquero . It was about 4 inches down and broke up where zinc pennies usually start chirping. Sensitivity on ten , disc on the mark before nickle and threshold set at the o on Tesoro emblem .This is my default setting.

Only other good find was a 1941 D wheatie.

No , I wasnt very clear. Those are the settings that i found it with. Then I thumb the disc up listening to it. It started to break up where zinc are. i thought it was a penny.

That's a tough find! Those tiny silver rings do indeed ping in at the rotten zinc level. 'Course so does a big gold ring, so whats a feller to do?
