An unexpected Golden find.......

Hunted a grassy parking area this afternoon that I haven't hunted in a few years, got a little over $3 in clad and pennies and a surprise. A spur. It has U.S. and W.L. on the inside and according to the info I found online it's a WWI era Calvary spur. Mr Glascow, who was the mayor in the 1970's, told me several years ago that a run down old house was there when the city bought the land in the 1950's so the spur was probably brought home by a WWI Vet. I found most of the coins with the A.&.S Baron, but switched to the Golden
