An old subject revisited...Battery life

While in England a few weeks ago, I tested the hours of use on a fully charged set of batteries. Total over 2 days, 11+ hours. I had the backlight off, TX boost off. Has anyone else experienced such a quick loss of power? I know with the electronics that are in the Vision, it does take more power to run than most detectors.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade the Vision for anything. Just curious....

Hello Jim.

11+ hours is good for a rf transmiter on 3 freqs. and a mini computer and tv screen.

Next summer, I would like to try your Pulse Ind. on the beach.

Thanks. Well anytime you want to try that PI machine, see me at Rockaway Beach, NY. Jim
