An old racetrack

I just got permission to search an old car racing track. Its going to be overgrown. Not used since the late fifties to early sixties. This place is going to be full of car parts, spark plugs... I think I will initially ignore the track and hunt the outskirts where the venders were. Ill be using a Vaquero , might hit it this weekend , weather permitting.

that sounds exiting

oughta be a awesome hunt! Good luck and remember....if you dont have pictures to back up your finds....it didn't happen...j/k...have fun and keep us posted!

yeah parts maybe near the track but if you know where the perimeter fence was thats where the loot will be,, lots of hands coming out of pockets fast all day long there. thats funny we had two that closed down many years ago around here now that I think about it..

I finally got around to hunting the old race track. Did not find one good item ,except for this. Its still there.

That's worth some money if you can get that out of there! It would make a cool table or something too...A fellow would think there'd be old coins if that thing was there..

That Coke holder is worth a few bucks !!! Even in poor condition.

TV shows like American Pickers or American Restoration would be all over that, restore it and claim to get $2000 for it:rage:

I dont think the owners of the property would approve of me carrying that out. I would if they said I could have it.

I think I'd ask them. They may want it or they may even help you get it out of there. Don't know until you talk with them.
