An old house, stinging nettles and stinkin

It is hard to tell if your stinging nettles is the same one we have here. If you have burdock growing nearby, crush the leaves and put the juice on your skin. The sting and the rash will go away almost a mediately. Burdock has large leaves that look like rhubarb. It has round burs that get in dog's fur all the time. We use to throw the burs at each other when I was a kid. It really works.

I put a picture of it in the reply to Bill.
Are those the same as cockle burrs?

Bill
They are different Bill. We have cockle-burrs out here but not burdock.

That stuff works so well that I will put the nettles on my arm just to show people how well it works. Then I wipe the burdock on and its gone. Totally. It works for bee stings also. I was a scout leader for 12 years. One of my boys was allergic to bees. I put that on his sting and his mother was amazed how well it worked. The swelling went down right a way. That was a few years back. The mother said if that hadn't worked they would have taken him to the hospital.

I learned years ago, no shorts at old sites............

Take Care, :starwars:
