AN MXT question

It will pinpoint off the front tip or the heel of the coil. I found this diagram on a treasure site that someone did and it pretty well explains it . HH Dennis in Idaho

Mine pinpoint right in the center, just keep pulling the trigger in and the target will get smaller.

Mine pinpoints off the toe, more than the heel. If its deeper than 3" it only moves back a little and is under the White's name on the front of the coil. I had trouble at first, but I find it easier to pinpoint with the 6X10 than the stock coil. I've gone from 3-4" diameter holes with the stock coil, to an average of 1-2" for targets up to 4" deep, slightly wider if its deeper than that. Just like everybody advocates, it takes practice. The more hours you spend, even detecting your backyard, the better you'll know your machine. It just takes longer with some machines. What's that old saying, 'You get out of it, what you put into it.

Robert i have put a heart where my pinpoint is its so accurate that i sometimes hit the coins so i have to move a bit to the sides of it.

Thanks Bill:
I'm still debating wether to get the 6x10 or the 4x6DD. I'm leaning for the smaller
just because of the economics.

How good IS the smaller coil?
