Minelab buddies-

Over the last few weeks on the forum, I realized I really need to make the Sabbich coin garden from which I can practice inside and out for pinpoint and depth accuracy with the Safari. I plan to do this as soon as the snow clears... in the next two weeks I hope.

But my finds so far besides clad have been square nails and two odd civil war bullets. And, I'm not sure the best place to buy cull coins!

So I'd like to make the following proposal, to any veteran collector who is open to it.

Send me a few of **the worst condition finds you have,** stuff that is cull quality and good for a garden.

In return, I promise the following: (**here's the fun part!!**) I will send you, on my honor as a person, the SECOND (not the first) coin of that type which I find during the upcoming year. I hunt some large, old parks near my home in the S/E Ohio tristate area and hope to do some researched searches as well. This coin may be the best little one you've seen, it may be just a bit better than what you sent... but you'll have effectively traded your cull for a better coin, and I'll have made a good garden.

:clapping:

send me your info. Ill send what i can. Remember 8" on dimes and 10" on quarters and up.

The proper way to place a coin garden is as follows.
Clear out any signals in AM as possible. 5x5 or 10x10 is good.
Dig measured holes.
Place object "into the SIDE of the hole" so there is unimpeded dirt "undug" to object.
Fill hole and pour a saltwater brine solution into dug hole. "what would be off to the side of placed target"
This helps to "electrically connect" the object to the soil.
Use golf tees to mark objects in your garden.
