An hour at the old park

I am sure it has been MD a lot. I tried to go off the beaten path. Still a lot of pull tabs, but it paid off. I am easy to please. One 1944 dime and a ruff 1941-s cent for an hour's work. Tonight I soaked them in hot peroxide, then put a little mineral oil on them. I am trying to find a way to clean them and still make them look natural. I don't want that bright shinny look on the older cents.

It has nice detail if I could get the black crud off.

Nice coins John, I really like the Mercs. For the silver, I put them in the wife's liquid silver cleaner for about a minute then use a polishing cloth and they shine up good. I don't like the shine on wheats from a tumbler. I brush them with a little brass wire brush and that's good enough for me.

Great finds John. There are nice goodies in your new location, and I bet you start pulling them out on a regular basis.
