May be I"m just stupid but I think it is ridiculous and absurd to claim an EX2 won't find anything beyond 7 inches.
Words are important. This guy didn't say he hasn't found anything belows this depth. This is different than claiming it won't go greater than 7 inches.
Here are the facts.
A healthy EX2 does go deeper than 7 inches. Period. How deep? I have no clue other than what I have found with my EX2. But it could be his EX2.
To say 7 inches is absurd. Fact is-he doesn't know how deep his machine wuill go other than to say he has not found anything deeper than 7 inches.
It's not the machine. It's him
Just because people sell their machine(s). Therwe is no causal link per se between the fact it is an EX2.. I sold one because I was broke. I have also sold 4 other machines at different times four different reasons.
So that someone sells an EX2 or five people do means nothing per se.
Lastly-I have used metal deterctors for over forty years starting with a Metrotech 220 and ANY detector takes time for one to get to know it. I'm so sick of people saying the EX2 is difficult. Compared to what!!!!!! Fact is-to be good at this hobby is damn hard work and anybody who says differenty is smoking some other than tobacco or has watched too many TV shows on this hobby.
It takes SKILL PATIENCE PERSEVERENCE and lastly and least-a little bit of luck.
