An article on detector tricks. Wrote this one 10 years ago. Jesus,

I remember that one Bill. And ye....ever since then I DO angle my coil around the bases of trees, and you know what? That has gotten me some large cents and silver coins. There is just so much to learn in this hobby. I still read all the Lost Treasure and Western & Eastern Magazines. And I still learn a trick or two.......

You are really a talented writer! I hope you get your pencil smoking this winter and burn out a couple more articles Bill. :)

I'll try leaning my coil over that way bill when I hunt around trees. Actually, when I hunt around metal poles, I hit the pinpoint button and tilt the Sniper coil slightly the other way to get those coins next to the poles! It works well too.
Mick Evans.

Great article, I have passed up many metal poles in the play grounds. Now I can go back and giver a try. I'll be looking for some tips on cleaning older copper coins.

Good article.Thanking you.:super:

If you still own the rights to these articles you've already written most of your book, Bill. Inscribe mine "To Chris. Keep swinging, Bud. Bill."
