When I moved to Daytona Beach FL, I did not think there would be a lot of history buried here but I was wrong. Before setting out to test my new bounty hunter pioneer ex I decided to check my front yard. Within ten minutes I dug up 4 merc dime 1917, 1923, 1942, and 1945 as well as a 1941 walking liberty half dollar. The next day in my side yard I pulled out a 14k ring with 3 small diamonds. Now that is what I call beginners luck!

Hi Silversmith,
Yeah that is what I thought but my yard is still producing treasure, I found a lot of pull tabs but was able to find 13 wheat pennies and a silver 1932 quarter.

My yard has produced silver twice, And I know there is more stuff to find in it. Cool finds tj at least you didn't have to travel. I was out this morning, found lots of clad a taken, and a lions share of trash. Ron

Great first hunts, and in your very own yard...my backyard is filled with so much trash, that it is not even worth hunting...the siders left all their nails and small sheet metal trash behind...I do not own the property, or I woulda shot em...
