An Ace 250 problem?????

Today, Sat, was a nice day in the 40's but halfway into the detecting, the machine went nuts.
Yhe contro box went crazy and would not tuen off. Couldn't even change mode. I had
to open the battery compartment and take out a battery and put it back. After that the
machine worked fine. This happen to anyone else?

Picked up $3.65 in clad, a miniture dagger, a womans compact (junk)
and two junk rings. The one with the stone came in as a pull tab. No gold in this one.
Looks like it's aluminum.

The nice weather ends tomorrow with thems in the teens.

Regards
Robert R

I had mine lock up a few times where nothing would happen when I pushed the buttons. I would remove a battery, replace it and then it would be fine. I think it is just like a computer and would lock and need a reboot. Now I had it go crazy before and realized I was near a power box. I would move and it was OK. That might have started it.

It must be a Garrett thing. The same thing would occasionally happen with my old CXIII as well!

Funny thing is I've never had mine lock up. Just luck of the draw I guess......
