Hi,

Does anyone have info on a modification to this military PI unit?

Be glad to pay of any info.

Thanks,

Karl

Hi guys, I've been lurking here for a while but this is my first post....

I too have an AN-19/2 that I bought about 2 years ago. This is what I know about the available upgrade.

Last year I contacted Schiebel Technologies in Warrenton, VA about an upgrade kit for the AN-19/2. It consists of an ATMID search coil and a new electronic module which allows you to change the unit from PI to continuous wave just by changing coils.

But they wanted $1900 for the kit - :rage: - which I was politely told is less than half the cost of an ATMID detector.

Just my dos centavos.

Talk to Mr Bill about what you need done with your detector, and see if he can modify your current one.

It's a very low metal mine detector (AN/PSS-12 to the US Military, AN-19/2 to the rest of the world) made by Schiebel Elektronische Ger
