The threat of storms loomed all day but we decided to head out to a beach that we rarely visit. The rocks and stones there make it a very difficult dig even with the heavy duty Travis scoop. I did manage a nice 14K ring with 2 hearts on it. Not many depositors today but it was still nice and warm. Saw one other detectorist......Robert......he said he was not lucky today.

Gold likes to hide under rocks. Thought maybe I would see you there but met up with Robert instead..........you need to guard your beach from looters like me!!

Yeah Roberts been doing well on that side of the beach... I cleaned up there last year,one paticular hunt I got 3 gold rings in under an hour and had to leave because the wife was bored
