Amazing!!!!!

Is it just me or are all of us seeing more posts from what appears to me to be new people on the forum? The funny thing is it also has seemed to have happened since the new SE came on the market. I'm still waiting for some more good posts and pictures of the finds from the fellows who own the SE to share with all of us. Let's see some more posts SE owners and make believers out of all of about how much better the SE is over the Explorer, XS and the Explorer II. HH.

I dont see anyone with a lower post total than me. I too am interested to learn about the SE.

HH,
Stoops

new people taking the plunge with the SE.

I think most of the new people however are the people buying the used XS and II's that have hit the market since the release of the SE.

I would imagine most the SE buyers are the guys who are selling their II's and buying the new SE's.

Eddie--
I've been lurking here in the back ground for about 4 years now and yes, you can call me new here since I never registered and posted anything until recently. I too was waiting to get some pics. and post's from the new SE owners. I have the new SE here, decked out with brand new X-1, ready to rock. I'm anxious to get it out to a place that I've been hunting for the past two years with the Exp. II.
Problem for me right now, is that it's the driest summer I've seen here in NW Oregon in about 14 years. We need rain. It's my belief that when the ground becomes saturated once again and the iron targets come alive, that's when I'm going to see the differences if any between the SE and the Exp. II. If I were to post any observations between the two machine, and I'm likely not going to, it certainly would not be meant to convince anyone of anything. Only expectations I have from the new SE, are to provide me with hours of enjoyment and fun. I love diggin holes. Good digging to you!

Well I have an SE comeing. It should be here today. I got it from a guy that had it for a week or two. He decieded to stay with his Exp II. Why I am not sure. The Exp II is just as deep. Possibly in his area there is not advantage due to better than average soil conditions. I want to take both of my SE and Exp II and do some testing. I went out with a guy a couple days ago to a local park that has been using his XLT Spectrum (with the rainbow sticker) for about 7 years he pulled a gold and 9 diamonds ear ring out of the sand under the jungle jim area. I thought I was doing great getting coins then I saw the diamonds (he had them tested and they test real) so it is hard to beat a guy that knows his machine. I am not even sure why I bought the SE other than a moment of weakness and I like to play with different machines. I guess I am a tinkerer my new friend Brad is a detectorist.

hello
I am writing this massage from Turkey. We are a group of people who are interested in treasure hunting. We need good reliable products to be able to find buried treasure. As you may well know Turkey is an ancient country full of treasures. Since there are very strict regulations regarding treasure hunting many of the treasures are yet to be discovered.

We would be glad to cooperate with those who are interested to assist us in searching for gold. We have a number of maps also but as I have mentioned above we are in need of a good machine. The cost is not our concern

Please assist

Something could be better than previous Explorers as they just grab silver where others won't.....Indeed new posts are a combination of new SE owners and those that buy used Explorer 11 or Explorer XS units taking advanatage of used Explorers hitting the market at good prices with the arrival of the SE...Still too many wallflowers and not enough dancers so be my guest and post a time or two as I have used Explorers off and on for years and still learning..Knowing Minelab the SE will have added internals that will make an excellent unit even better if thats possible...

You seemed to have found this site without much problem, but if you are looking for a new machine then I would suggest you start talking with the detector dealers as there are plenty of them out there. One more thing. You mentioned that there are strict regulations regarding treasure hunting in Turkey. I wouldn't be surprised if treasure hunting wasn't allowed at all and if you aren't careful you may just find yourself behing bars and I hear those Turkey prisons aren't a very nice place to live. HH.

This moron sounds almost as pathetic as those Nigerians with their Cashiers Check emails. I'm sure this guy will want someone to send a machine to some address and he'll pay with a Cashiers Check. Nice try fool!

Well what better time to make my RE entry back to the forums :) I see some names I recognize from 2+ years ago and many new ones. I am a 5+ year veteran of the Explorer and was very active up until 2 years ago when my interest got deflected. I am getting back into the hobby and hope to actively post here and on the XTerra forum. I recently completed a deal with Dave @ Dixie and now own an X70 that I just started with last evening, Thanks again Dave you are a pleasure to deal with. I will be using my Explorer in the old pounded areas as always and will probably own an SE before long but I am breaking myself back into the game with a light easy to swing machine to start back up.Hope to be able to contribute and glean info as I go along, its fun to be back after a 2 year layoff.

I want to help. I need an address so I can send a big envelope of cash. I also want to give you my credit card numbers and bank account numbers so we can find much treasure together. Also I will send my wife, she is good for carrying all of the treasure we find. I am so excited now! Finally! Ancient treasure. Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!

Or worse.... Probably cant import certain electronics to where they are. I'm guessing its probably not Turkey.....
