Amazing new detecting technique...

Hello all,

I relearn this technique every year: Taking my detector out of the trunk and using it greatly increases my finds. One of my beer buddies mentioned he had a duplex in a neighboring town, built in 1880s. He gave me permission to detect.

Only second or third time I've detected this year.

Best find was 1879 IH

Looks better than the picture indicates, still has some mint luster.

And a few silver, no date SLQ, dozen wheaties not shown.

We finally got some rain to soften the concrete ground, hope to get out more this fall.

Isn't it amazing how much you can find when you turn it on and actually swing it once in a while?

Excellent finds - congrats !

Nice finds yeah if that Indian was an 1877 you would have had a nice chunk of money!
