We have been emotionally jerked back and forth for the last week about when we are going to close on this house we're selling. It was Friday, than Monday, no maybe Wednesday, Tues for sure, then today at 4pm and got a call at 3:30 saying not today. We are back to Friday.
We will sign the papers at 8 AM - BUT the couple that are buying it have problems. She works at a nursing home and if she is asked to work over tomorrow she has to - or lose her job. We hope and pray she gets to sign the paperwork tomorrow morning after work and not have to work over - BUT - even if she does her husband has to sign and he is a delivery guy for some lumber company and they have GPS in his truck so they know where he is every minute, so he can't take time off and he can't deviate from the assigned path or take too long at any of the stops he has to make.
Our realtor is going to tr to be at each of his stops to show him where to sign on each form. If you bought a house ya know this could be a whole day affair doing it one stop at a time when he can squeeze it in and not lose his job in the process.
What a screwed up world we live in. Add to that we have asked the youth minister for 'some young men with strong backs and weak minds' to help us haul stuff out of the house (like the piano and heavy stuff I can't move alone)and into the U-Haul truck and then once we get up north we were going to buy them supper or lunch and after unloading the truck was going to give each of them about $50 to $75 for their help. If the papers don't get signed we don't get the money to put fuel in the truck, give the kids a meal and money, no money to pay for the house we want to buy - what a nightmare. I know God isn't going to let us lose the house but Satan sure is applying the stress. Sherry is about in tears over all this.
Please pray that the paperwork can and will be done in the morning by everyone and all else falls into place. I want to say I can't believe companies these kids work for can be so cruel hearted but I've worked for companies that care about nothing but the almighty dollar.
We are pretty much broke - no food in the house to eat - and can't afford to go out to eat - not til after the house is sold. We have a chance too to save $500 on a couple computers that are on sale. If things don't turn around soon we will lose those as well - and other things Sherry needs to maintain her work for the pest control company. Argh what a nightmare.
Thank you for your prayers Brothers and Sisters.
