Have ya all notice over the years and even more so now a days that there are many posts on the classified section of the forums with people wanting to trade a new wiz bang x detector for a beep n dig Tesoro or so and so wanting to sell a new or like new x detector because they want to use the money to purchase a Tesoro. And come to think of it how many times do you see someone in the classifieds wanting to sell or trade a Tesoro for a different brand of detector, thats right hardly ever. Shows that Tesoro has done and still does things right.

I will be keeping my Compadre and any other Tesoro detectors I buy in the future long after many of these new detectors with all the gadgets and gizmos have come and gone. My Compadre goes on every hunt. It is my first experience with Tesoro and it has been a good one. I have found some of my best finds with it. I have not had to use Tesoro's customer service yet, but have read nothing but good from those that have dealt with them. Tesoro is awesome.

People are buying machines (ID OR knoch ID) that they think are telling them whether its a good target or not (the machine is only taking a guess at what something is).

MDers are not a magic wand to riches & treasure contrary to MDer ads.

The MDerist that takes the beep & dig philosify goes behind the ID MDerist & picks up the missed treasure left behind. Keep it up guys & gals, we always like to dig up your missed treasure.

Also only about 10% of the people who buy MDers spend the time to truely learn their machines & what it is telling them.

On a couple of gold forums it has been said you can give a pro a older machine & a nubie a state-of the art new machine (with all the bells & whistles) & the pro will probley beat the pants off the nubie on finds.

For us older folks Tesoro means we can swing longer with their lighter machines & have a lifetime warrenty...........Tesoro rocks !

I started thinking about going back to beep and dig shortly after I got my top of the line meter machine, then I got a couple of beep and dig machines same brand but my finds were still down. I have only got 4 or 5 hours on the Tejon but my finds are up and I am working my old worked out sites just to test the machine.

So I am starting to think it is Tesoro.

I still laugh at How I run a cibola right behind a guy with a soverign GT on the beaches of Ocean City Maryland and I was nailing quarters at 15 and 18 inches with the cibola as the other guy kept walking. I dont buy OH HE WAS JUST CHERRY PICKING. lol


proof . High dollar machine got its electronics stomped by a less expensive machine.

let me say it simply for all the people i confused - tesoro rocks!
and yes, slingshot - "it's strange what the imagination does when we're waiting for our detector to be returned."
but, i am not withought resources - i also have the tiger shark + cibola
