Well, found my first wheats last night in the front yard. One was quite deep, over 7".
What is starting to amaze me is how well the Explorer can pinpoint on a good signal. I've had the unit less than a week and have my holes down to 4".
However, if there are multiple targets, it can get a little tricky. After retrieving a target, I always sweep the hole again, as well as the plug and dirt, to be sure that a 2nd target doesn't exist.
The idea of a probe, such as Sunray's can be handy I imagine. For those of you that have them, do you find yourself using them on deep holes, or small targets? Just curious.
Thanks
