Been licensed since 1986 and am an "old" Extra. I have been radio inactive for a couple of years. I got burned out on contest after contest. I worked them quite a bit. I'll eventually get back into it but metal detecting is more fun for me right now. Welcome and be sure to post your finds. !!

was when I had CB radios and belonged to REACT montering as much of the 24 hrs. as I could--I still belong along with my Ex wife a my Daughter--We were all Life Members and my daughter was the youngest life member at (7)---We did the First Free coffee stop in the Va. area--We were allowed to put up a antenna on the rest stop building--I really liked helping people--I did get a letter from the Cosast Guard in Alaska for hearing a boat call. the boat had been missing for 7 days with 1 of the 4 aboard was dead!
