There were lots of targets in the crash zone. Lots of coins and 1-2 Dollar Canadian Coin,whats that worth? 2 Va Beach pressed pennies and 1 nice 14K band. Saw Mike and that was it. Mike, Dude you need to get a better scoop, That could be the reason some of those targets seem deep they might be falling back into the hole.

They definitely aren't falling back in the hole but digging the holes is more work, for sure. I have a better scoop, but the only problem is it's so tough to drain I can't stand it and go back to my basket scoop. Which does fine...I'm just working harder. I agree I need something. Here are the two I have but if you're in the wet sand the big one is a dog...you either have to dump it out of take it in the water to get the prize.

Hey Shark, Hope alls well! Looks like you and Tony are hitting the beaches hard with those new CZ-20's. I'm still putting away money in my "Hush" account for one. Traveling should slow down this fall and winter for relic hunting! I'm looking forward to hitting the fields this fall. Take care....Vern

How are things going with the new house? I am patiently waiting for the cooler weather to get back to the woods and do some relic hunting,I am having withdrawals Tony and I are thinking about taking a road trip to Nagshead and would like you to come along if you can get away. Maybe after the kids go back to school and the beaches thin out some.Let me know if you can make it.....
