Am I being too Cheap . .Plactic scoop?

Rodauthor

I have read the past posts here and did some searching of the online retailers and . .ouch. The good sand scoops are not cheap. I am rather new to all this and am still sorting out the interests and places. One of the adventures I hope to pursue more is this. I have a place on a northern MI river. Now I am aware of the land use laws and such. But I am about a 1/4 mile down stream of a canoe launch and think there might be some goodies to be had. So the question is this . . Has anyone ever attached a handle to the plastic scoops and had any success in doing so????

Thanks In Advance
Wayne

Sorry, It looks like a sunspot but it isn't.

I was looking at the one above the "real" suspot. It's 49.95

The ad reads...

No frills 48" oak handle with sturdy cold-rolled steel bucket. 3/8" holes for quick draining action.
#FP-08 Retail $49.95

I had a buyer some months back, deal went nowhere. Anyone interested, private message me and I will send a picture of it for your approval. Jim
