Always lucky Vaquero. Merc. dime

Took the vaq and new 5.5 inch concentric to the woods today. The ground is totally thawed. I was going very slowly because I have gout in the big toe. Man thats painful. Probably should have stayed home but Im an idiot.So I would take a step stop and place the coil in every nook and cranny possible. Pulled out three coins. A 1934 Wheat penny , 1916 Buffalo nickle and 1943 Mercury dime. Didnt find much of anything else.

Two outings this year and six old coins total. 1 wheatie, two buffs , 1 V nickle, 1 merc dime and 1 barber quarter.

I used my usual settings. Sensitivity barely in the red , Threshold on the last "o" of the Tesoro emblem and Disc set at minimum.

that is really a nice find , and looking good in that loamy dirt, thats a really good spot to find so many coins like that I love woods hunting

The soil was loamy and right on the edge of a creek. Another year and the dime might have been in the bed. So I hunted the creek bed but with no luck. Rocky creeks are difficult . The gravel keeps falling back in the hole.

Hey hatpin,

I get a case of gout every once in awhile, I take 100mg Allopurinol for 30 days just when i get that tinge of pain in my big toe, it helps. It is cheap too at Wal Mart, under $10.

Nice to get some old coins for your trouble with the gout, Mercury dimes are my favorites.

I get it from my doctor, then she just calls it in, no office call.

That dime wasnt worth it. I had to take an oxy codin at two o'clock this morning .

Congrats on the dime.I know all about the gout.I had it so bad once I had to get around on crutches.The air blowing on it would hurt.Hope it gets better.

hat pin do you drink a lot of beer , I heard beer can complicate that disorder , also Intresting that the dime was found on the bank Igather someone was sitting on the bank years ago fishing or just resting and it fell out of the pocket hope you get better ,

my brother suffers from gout occasionally and he was told to drink cherry juice and it helps.
