Alternative Analysis Mode

Alternative Analysis Use.

Most of us know that if we press the toggle forward away from the grip we place the V3I in analysis Mode. Most of the time people refer to the sizing and polar plot screens. Another useful screen is to set the analysis screen to is spectragraph. Once this is done uncheck the Match Search (Empty Square), this will allow different Ground Filter, Recovery Delay, and SAT settings for the Analysis mode.

If you are experimenting, this helps you decide which intensity or consistenty, Ground Filter, Recovery Delay, and SAT settings are best that day at that site. With the press of the toggle you can switch back and forth and see which settings give better results. Another example would be to have the main screen use a long recovery delay in open ground and as you get into trash flip the toggle and have the same program but with a short recovery delay.

This is just another example of the detector

Neat idea! It'd be like having two V3i's to work with comparing different settings with the click of the toggle switch.
