Big waves along the North Shore this afternoon...easily 12-15 footers breaking from Beverly up to Gloucester. At Singing, sand had been pushed up around the concession stand and across the road. We shall see what happens. HH ~Rich

I had alot of RL work to do Saturday, so we thought we'd hit it late Saturday night and see what it looked like.

We ran into another guy out there at Hampton, but he wasn't finding anything either. Lots of sand had been blown up by the parking lot and the beach area up by there, but not a single area that had cuts down by the water.

Salisbury showed a little promise, but not enough to get too excited about.

We'll give it a try again another time - still a couple more weeks left to try to hit some lake/pond beaches, but the season for that is getting shorter and shorter as well.

Good luck and I'm sure we'll get together one of these days.

Checked out Hampton and Salisbury. Hampton was really sanded in with hardly any targets at all showing up. Hit Salisbury in a few locations and the only luck I had was near the boardwalk area where I hit a patch with alot of clad, a silver dime and a wheat penny. I had to go super slow in the area with all the junk targets surrounding them.

No jewelry at all, and disappointed to not see any cuts anywhere at all either. The storm moved alot of sand - just not in the right places :)

Looks like we gotta wait for the next big one to come through.

I dug all over for most of Sunday. Went out last night and my shoulder just about fell off first swing. Finding a little everything, quite a bit of silver, lots of clad, two ringers. Pics to come. How're things shaping up down Salisbury way?

All in Maine, but like you said, it seems as though the silver was all grouped in "patches".

I'll also say that I've now given the X-terra 70 some well-deserved respect. :detecting:
