Aloha_Can someone ID this button found in Hawaii?

My girlfriend and I went digging on Memorial Day and found some clad coins and this button. Right next to the button was an old belt buckle. Is it from WW 2 or could it be from a Royal Hawaiian guard? Any information would be helpful. Thanks Paul (Island Chips)
 
Maybe WW1 or older.
