Almost whispers. 32 deep ones

Clad coins talking about. Got into a old H. School baseball field. Not used much any more. Heck outfield has a 335 ft. fence marker. Lots of ground. Using the Infinium with 15" mono coil. Not loaded with coins, but 32 and everyone a honest 5-8" deep.
Ten of them nickels, and not much trash at all. Dug 10 dimes and most of them were making me strain to hear them. Actually had a pretty good time of it. With almost a third of the coins being nickels there's a chance someone left some Gold in there to. Absolutely no surface coins. I think someone with a less powerful mochine thinks the site is played out. Still a lot to cover.

I'm surprised none of those coins were silver, those kind of faint signals are music to my ears. Sounds like you just had some bad luck and maybe another trip back in there you'll get some silver.

Still
I may blunder into 3 sometimes 6 Silver coins a year. I really don't target them. It's Gold that makes me sing.

Think the AT would have reached them?

The AT most probably would have hit a majority of these coins. I would say at least 5 of the dimes and differently the 8" nickel would have been a broken up signal. And for me to get these coins, with the AT I would have to move a lot slower. Average depths in this field run from 5to 8 inches before hitting gravel base. Large field like this, the 15"coil plus the grabbing power of Pulse Induction is a huge difference. For me anyways.
