I put my junk and clads in a candy jar on my bathroom counter. Guests love it. Bout time for another candy jar as this ones about full. What do yall do with your junk finds ?

PKB My junk Jewelry some makes it to my shadow Boxes i display in the Liveing Room the rest maks it in the trash???
The clad coins go to Coil Stare the chang machines at Save Mart, Though you have a idea 4R the Junk Rings???
Gold N Silver go to ARA, Mickfin

Nice haul. I keep my clad together in one container and often have a "junk display" which guests usually find interesting to look thru. HH. Matt

Let's see, any available horizontal surface, drawers, under couch, shipping containers in front yard...OK, I made that up. I have a rule that once my designated shelves and storage are full, I keep the best / favorites and recycle or toss the overflow. I roll the clad and run rotten zincolns through the coinstar, I'm sure they are thrilled!

I have been saving all my junk that i find to take to the scrapyard. It wont be worth much
but it beats sending it to the landfill

Yup, the recycling pays for my gas and then some. I've been holding on to it for a couple of months, as the only recycler in town has dropped his prices. Copper was $5/lb. a few months ago, now he's paying $1.75/lb. I think it's about $1 higher in more competitive markets, so I will haul 2-300 #s of aluminum, copper, brass, lead, and iron/steel next time I'm on a road trip. I don't work hard at it, just grab a bit each time I'm out, and it's nice to do some cleanup where we hunt.

Just bought a small chest at a yard sale. It's going to be a "treasure chest" for my grandkids. You old guys remember Scrooge McDuck? He used to have a room full of money that he would dive into - that's my goal! LOL

Cool Idea!! They'll love it.
