When I come home from a detecting trip I put the coins in a jar that are not keepers. Today when I started to clean them in preparation for tumbling I discovered these 5 war nickels - mostly silver it seems. I have to be more eagle eyed in the future. Steve in so la

YES!, As they look a lot like clads--need to read the dates & make sure of what coins are truly made of! I've had quarters like that, too!
