Went down to the beach early today. Found a few coins, then I thought I had another beer cap signal. I dig it, & I thought I had a white gold band with about a 1 ct rock. 30 more ft., & hit another signal. Looked like a fat platinum band. Get back to the truck, no marks on the junk ring, & the wedding band was marked tungsten carbide. Oh well, for a moment there I thought I had finally hit something besides junk. You have to maintain a sense of humor in this hobby. LOL

I have been finding alot of men's Tungsten rings lately...seems more and more guys are wearing them instead of precious metal rings. Oh well...a ring is a ring:thumbup:

The odds are in your favor...just keep on swinging and digging...those are just warm up rings..HH GL

dug 3 rings in 1/2 hour time period while on summer vacation, was hunting at night.....1st ring was very deep 14inches,,2nd ring gave very low tone and i could see dozens of stones on it from the little bit of light from the boardwalk,, 3rd ring was a class ring that gave a very low tone...so i was sure at least one of them had to be gold-right....wrong,the 14inch deep one was titanium, the ring with all the stone was 925 and the class ring im not sure what it is but its not marked and has no vdi number when i check it with my whites..so i can relate to your momentary false hope....
