OK been out swinging on and off for five days and have had allot of first finds. Just got a GTI 2500 few weeks ago and have been having a blast. Got a V4 pin-pointer with the package. Had to give that thing the boot did not work half the time and forget about it working in the cold. Grabbed a Sun-Ray GI-1 used off that on-line auction site and I really like it.

So anyhow last five days just over $23 in clad and 23 pounds of junk lol.
Now I'm new so I don't know all my coins yet so bear with me
2 Buffalo's can't read the dates
3 Rosie's 47,57,64
4 Merc's 42,38,39,42
2 Canadian dimes 56 and one dated 1867-1967
A 64 Canadian quarter is all black don't know if its silver
A 1908 US quarter Don't know what this one is looks a little like a merc
2 Kennedy half's 69,64
1954 half Ben Franklin?
1942 Half Standing ?
Also a Italian coin 1957 don't know what it is has 100 on the back

Now Been on here reading allot so today I switched from using coin and jewelry mode to zero and just notched out iron. Well damn.....started popping out jewelry. 14k White gold ladies ring, 18k gold bracelet(which I promptly lost),and some other trinkets. Oh and a really big penny and a small handful of Wheaties. Had a small spill six wheat's one a 43 steal.

Here are a couple of pics

Pretty good haul there. We might be able to find someone with a metal detector to look for that bracelet.
What area of the country are you in?

John

Where are you hunting? That would be a great year's worth of silver for a lot of us. Nice finds!

Chris

Been hunting three locations, my property a school that borders mine and an old church that also owns the neighboring park. The park has been there for ever it is where my grandparents met at a church picnic. Most of the silver was recovered there. The school gave up the ring and a ton of clad my place you get a little of everything.

Slipped out yesterday for an hour to try to find the bracelet again but no luck. Did recover another 72 cents in clad for the cause.

happy Hunting
