Any chance of doing an air test on $1.oo & $2.oo coins The way that i have done it is put a meat scewer along side of each coin pushed it into the grass until the bottom of the coil is touching the scewer.I am getting 7 inches on the $1.oo and a little less on the $2.oo this is using the elipitical 18.75 dd.

I have a piece of flat wood marked in inches from 1 to 18. I place the detector on the ground with the coil horizontal. This is a great test using your sensitivity and different coils on different targets. Was your sensitivity on full when you did that test pinpointa?

Turn it up to 30 and see what you get then!
Cheers!

Hi nugget71,
Whacked it up to 30 full sensitivity 9 and half inches or 240mm on the $1 dollar coin with numbers fluxuating 26 28 30 32 34.

Hi Nugget 71,
Here is a test with a $1.oo coin in prospecting mode sensitivity at 30 just an increase in threshold but i would stop for it. 330 mm or 13 inches.
